I just read through my review of the episodes for season one of Preacher. Similar to American Gods this year, there were plenty of times when Preacher confused and annoyed me too. Starting off strong, then struggling for far too many episodes before finally building up to a glorious finale.
I couldn’t remember exactly when the first of the previous batch of Mummy movies came out and was quite surprised to be reminded that it was nearly 20 years ago (1999)! Starring Brendan Fraser, it was a highly enjoyable dose of fun, Indiana Jones style adventure, disappointingly spawning a number of sequels of diminishing quality.
As the DC TV universe continues to go from strength to strength, the DC movie universe is gradually going downhill.
